Belly & Body Casting

You've probably heard of belly castings before, in the context of pregnancy and people wanting to commemorate the unique size and shape of their belly during that time. But did you know there are other reasons why a belly or body casting could be a fun opportunity?

 

There are so many reasons why you may want to set up a session with me to create a one-of-a-kind casting of your belly and/or chest (or other areas of your body, if you're looking for something different!), such as:

• Connecting with your belly & body more, treating it like the piece of art it is!

• Commemorating the body that carried you this far, before a gender affirming surgery (such as top surgery of any kind)!

• Celebrating the body you have now, after a gender affirming surgery!

• And of course, creating a beautiful art piece of your pregnant belly -- because that's still a really rad reason to do this!

After spending some time grounding ourselves in our bodies and setting your intentions for this casting, we'll get to work preparing the area you want cast, applying the materials, hanging out while it dries, and removing it. From there, you can leave it as-is (a rougher, textured cast) or have it cleaned up and prepared for further painting, crafting, etc.
